Red Letter Days Random Acts of Kindness Promotion - Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions.”) govern the Red Letter Days Random Acts of Kindness promotion (the “Promotion”) run by Experience More Limited (t/a Red Letter Days) (“EML”).

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. All Participants are deemed to have read, accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

DEFINED WORDS: In these Terms and Conditions, a bold or capitalised word has a particular meaning. These relevant words can be found in brackets after their meaning. Any reference in these Terms and Conditions to “we”, “us” or “our” is a reference to EML. Any reference to “you” or “your” is a reference to any Participant of the Promotion and these references may be used interchangeably.

The Parties:

  1. EML’s registered office is 10 Back Hill, London, England, EC1R 5EN and EML shall act as the Promotion’s promoter (the “Promoter”)
  2. A participant refers to any entrant of the Promotion (the “Participant(s)”)

Eligibility:

  1. To be eligible to enter into the Promotion, Participants must be UK residents aged 18 years or over.
  2. Participants must not be employees or associated persons of EML or its affiliated companies, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Promotion, and this also includes members of their immediate families and households.
  3. In entering the Promotion, all Participants confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements under these Terms and Conditions and are eligible to claim any Prize they may win.
  4. EML may reasonably require all Participants to provide proof that they meet the eligibility requirements for this Promotion.
  5. EML reserves the right to disqualify any Participants if EML believes, at its sole discretion, that any Participant’s conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Promotion.

Promotion mechanics:

  1. In order to be entered into the Promotion, Participants must make a genuine enquiry relating to Red Letter Days employee gifting (“Qualifying Enquiry”) by contacting Red Letter Days through:
    1. Via an online enquiry on the Red Letter Days corporate website, available here: https://corporate.redletterdays.co.uk/
    2. Through the Red Letter Days customer services team, available via online chat at https://help.redletterdays.co.uk/hc/en-us or via telephone on 02082755506
    3. Or via our Account Managers email addresses, at maria.mallaci-bocchio@buyagift.com and anita.chahal@buyagift.com.
  2. All Qualifying Enquiries must be submitted between 00.01am 03.02.2025 until 23.59pm on 16.02.2025.
  3. EML accepts no responsibility for any technical fault or technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind which prohibits any Participant from meeting the requirements in this section.
  4. Participants are limited to one (1) entry per person.
  5. EML will not accept Promotion entries that are automatically generated by a computer, algorithms or completed in bulk.
  6. Entry to the Promotion must be made via the defined entry mechanic below before the Promotion close date/time as set out above.
  7. All Promotion entries will be free of charge. No qualifying purchase will be necessary unless otherwise stated.
  8. The Promotion is not associated with LinkedIn or any other social media site on which it is advertised and is run independently by EML.

The Prize:

  1. There will be one winning Participant in this Promotion (the “Winner”).
  2. The Winner will win a £500 Red Letter Days voucher (“Prize”)
  3. The Prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth above.
  4. Participants hereby agree to be bound to any terms and conditions as stipulated by Red Letter Days (“Red Letter Days”) found at https://www.redletterdays.co.uk/terms (as amended from time to time).
  5. EML accepts no responsibility or liability in relation to the services and experiences supplied by third parties as the Prize or as part of the Prize. Participants hereby agree to be bound to any terms and conditions stipulated by the third party experience provider (as directed to them).
  6. There is no cash alternative for the Prize and the Prize cannot be exchanged or amended.
  7. If a Winner(s) elects not to partake in any or all portions of the Prize , any remainder of the Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation. The Prize may not be sold, offered for sale or used in connection with any other Promotion by the Winner(s).
  8. EML will not deliver to any address outside the United Kingdom.
  9. EML reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond EML’s control make it necessary to do so.

The Winner:

  1. EML will decide, using a random computer programme number generator, who the Winner shall be, and this decision shall be final, and binding and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
  2. EML will announce the Winner by contacting the Winner via email on or around 17.02.2025 (the “Prize Notification”).
  3. EML may be required either to publish or make available information that indicates a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, EML may publish each Winner’s name (only first name and first initial of their surname) on EML’s social media pages.
  4. If any Winner objects to any or all of its social media details and winning entry being published, that particular Winner must contact EML as soon as possible.
  5. Notwithstanding the above, if requested, EML may still provide the information and details of the Winner to the Advertising Standards Authority and any other regulatory or legal body upon reasonable request.

Claiming The Prize:

  1. The Winner will have 7 (seven) days from the date of the Prize Notification to claim the Prize , and to provide the information requested by EML which shall include but is not limited to the postal address, phone number, and any other information reasonably required by EML (the “Relevant Information”), using the method specified in the Prize Notification.
  2. In the event a Winner does not wish to accept the Prize or fails to confirm their acceptance of the Prize or does not provide the Relevant Information for the purpose of delivering the relevant Prize within the timeframe stated by EML in the Prize Notification, that particular Winner will be deemed to have automatically forfeited the Prize and shall have no recourse against EML in any manner, including by not limited to in relation to these Terms and Conditions, the Prize or the Promotion.
  3. EML shall then arrange for another eligible Participant to be selected in accordance with the process outlined in these Terms and this Participant shall be considered a Winner of the Promotion. For the avoidance of doubt there shall be a maximum of one Winner of this Promotion at any time.
  4. Under no circumstances may the Prize be claimed by a third-party on a Winner’s behalf.
  5. All Participants and Winners will be added to EML’s email database and may be sent marketing in connection to the Random Acts of Kindness campaign or other EML services.

Limitation of liability::

  1. Insofar as is permitted by law, EML and its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any Winner or accept any liability for loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize , particularly when it is caused by negligence, wilful misconduct or concealment of the Relevant Information by any Winner (deliberate or otherwise).
  2. Paragraph 1 of this section shall not apply where loss, damage, personal injury or death is caused by the negligence of EML, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. A Participant’s statutory rights are not affected.

  2. By entering the Promotion, all Participants consent to the use of their personal data by the EML for the purposes stated in these Terms & Conditions.

General:

  1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, EML may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude any individual from participating in the Promotion.
  2. EML reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  3. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain valid and enforceable.
  4. EML’s failure to act with respect to a breach of these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of its rights to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.
  5. The headings in these Terms and Conditions are for ease of reference only and do not affect the interpretation or construction of these Terms and Conditions.
  6. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and all parties to these Terms and Conditions submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  2. By entering the Promotion all Participants consent to the use of their personal data by the EML for the purposes stated in these Terms & Conditions.

General

Red Letter Days Workplace Acts of Kindness Competition - Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions.”) govern the Red Letter Days Workplace Acts of Kindness competition (the “Competition”) run by Experience More Limited (t/a Red Letter Days) (“EML”).

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. All Participants are deemed to have read, accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Competition mechanics:

  1. In order to be entered into the Competition, Participants must comment on Red Letter Days LinkedIn post “Workplace Acts of Kindness”, (“Post”) with a relevant entry, complying with any guidelines as set out in the Post.
  2. All entries must be submitted by 23.59 on 16.02.2025.
  3. EML accepts no responsibility for any technical fault or technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind which prohibits any Participant from meeting the requirements in this section.
  4. Participants are limited to one (1) entry per person.
  5. EML will not accept Competition entries that are automatically generated by a computer, algorithms or completed in bulk.
  6. Entry to the Competition must be made via the defined entry mechanic below before the Competition close date/time as set out above. Both will be defined in the Post.
  7. All Competition entries will be free of charge. No qualifying purchase will be necessary unless otherwise stated.
  8. The Competition is not associated with LinkedIn in any way and is run independently by EML.

The Prize:

  1. There will be one winning Participant in this Competition (the “Winner”).
  2. The Winner will win a £100 Red Letter Days voucher (“Prize”)
  3. The Prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth above.
  4. Participants hereby agree to be bound to any terms and conditions as stipulated by Red Letter Days (“Red Letter Days”) found at https://www.redletterdays.co.uk/terms (as amended from time to time).
  5. EML accepts no responsibility or liability in relation to the services and experiences supplied by third parties as the Prize or as part of the Prize. Participants hereby agree to be bound to any terms and conditions stipulated by the third party experience provider (as directed to them).
  6. There is no cash alternative for the Prize and the Prize cannot be exchanged or amended.
  7. If a Winner(s) elects not to partake in any or all portions of the Prize , any remainder of the Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation. The Prize may not be sold, offered for sale or used in connection with any other Competition or promotion by the Winner(s).
  8. EML will not deliver to any address outside the United Kingdom.

The Winner:

  1. EML will decide, based on the most inspiring story, using an independent judge separate from the administrators of the Competition, who the Winner shall be, and this decision shall be final, and binding and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
  2. EML will announce the Winner by contacting the Winner on LinkedIn via the Red Letter Days LinkedIn account on or around 17.02.2025 (the “Prize Notification”).
  3. EML may be required either to publish or make available information that indicates a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, EML may publish each Winner’s name (only first name and first initial of their surname) on EML’s social media pages.
  4. If any Winner objects to any or all of its social media details and winning entry being published, that particular Winner must contact EML as soon as possible.
